Boiler Installation & Maintenance
A new boiler is one of the biggest comfort decisions you'll make for your home, so we treat it like one. Mark surveys the property, sizes the system correctly for the way you actually heat your home, and gives you clear options before any work starts. Installation is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (registration no. 552181), tidily and with your home protected throughout. New boiler installations come with up to a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee, and we handle gas and electric boilers alike.

Air Conditioning Installation & Maintenance
As a REFCOM accredited, F-Gas accredited installer, we design and fit air conditioning that's sized for the room and installed with discreet, tidy pipework. We work across Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu — from a single bedroom or home office to whole-house and commercial schemes. Today's systems are two-way: the same unit that cools you through summer heats the room efficiently in winter. We service and maintain what we install, keeping filters, coils and refrigerant in good order year after year.

Air Source Heat Pumps
An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to warm your home and hot water, even when it's cold out. For the right property it's a genuinely efficient, low-carbon alternative to a traditional boiler. We assess whether your home is a good fit — insulation, radiators or underfloor, hot water demand and outdoor space — and design a system that delivers comfortable warmth without the running-cost surprises.

Underfloor Heating
Water-based (wet) underfloor heating turns your whole floor into a gentle, even radiator. It frees up wall space, removes cold spots, and pairs beautifully with a heat pump because it runs at a lower flow temperature. We design and install underfloor heating for new builds, extensions, renovations and single rooms — and set it up on smart controls so each zone does exactly what you want, when you want it.

Ventilation & Unvented Hot Water
Good ventilation keeps a home healthy — clearing moisture, condensation and stale air, especially in bathrooms, kitchens and airtight modern builds. We design and install ventilation to suit the property. We also fit unvented hot water cylinders, giving you powerful, mains-pressure hot water to every tap and shower without the need for a loft tank — commissioned and certified to run safely for years.

If you're a landlord, an annual gas safety check on every appliance is a legal requirement — and for any homeowner it's simply good sense. As Gas Safe registered engineers (no. 552181) we carry out gas safety checks and issue landlord gas safety certificates (CP12) promptly, with clear reporting and honest advice on anything that needs attention. We also run a 24/7 call-out for heating emergencies across Surrey and London.

Are you Gas Safe registered?+
Yes. Evans & Son is Gas Safe registered under registration number 552181. Any work involving gas appliances — boiler installs, servicing, gas safety checks and landlord certificates — is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. You can check our registration on the official Gas Safe Register at any time.
Should I choose a boiler, a heat pump, or air conditioning for heating?+
It depends on your home. A modern gas or electric boiler is still the right answer for many properties and is usually the simplest swap. An air source heat pump can be a very efficient, low-carbon choice if your home is well insulated and has the right radiators or underfloor heating. Air conditioning heats and cools, and suits rooms where summer comfort matters as much as winter. Mark will survey the property and give you an honest recommendation rather than a one-size-fits-all answer.
What guarantee do I get on a new boiler?+
New boiler installations come with up to a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee, depending on the make and model. We register the guarantee for you as part of the handover, so it's in place from day one and you're not left chasing paperwork.
Which air conditioning brands do you install?+
We install and maintain Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin and Fujitsu air conditioning. As a REFCOM accredited, F-Gas accredited installer we handle the refrigerant side correctly and legally on every job, and we match the brand and unit to your room, your budget and how you'll use the space.
Do you do landlord gas safety certificates?+
Yes. We carry out annual gas safety checks and issue landlord gas safety certificates (CP12) for rental properties, promptly and with clear reporting. If anything needs attention we'll tell you plainly, with no pressure and no surprises.
Will the installation make a mess of my home?+
